Essay04: Dear host family

Hi! Nice to meet you, I’m Kozue Uraguchi. Thank you for agreeing to be my host family. I thank you very much. I want you to know about me, so I will to you about my hobby and my favorite things.
First of all, I tell you about my family. There are four people in my family, my father, my mother and my sister. The difference of age is six between my sister and me. We are very kind for each other now but we would fought a long time ago (>_<). My family likes to drive somewhere, so we often go out by the car, it is very fun for me and I sometimes drive the car. They are necessary person for me while I live.
Secondly, my hobby is taking pictures. I like to take pictures, and I have my own camera. When I was given it by my father, I was eight years old. I have taken many pictures, the sky, animals, trees and flowers, and humans. They give me some massage so I’m very happy when I’m taking pictures. I want to take many pictures there when I reach to yours house. I’ll teach you how to take pictures, let’s try to together!
And, I like to eat out many foods! I love chocolate very much. I often eat out but I make dishes myself. I’m good at cooking, I have a party at my house in a week. My favorite dishes are curry, gratin, cake and muffins. I want you to eat these! I will cook these for you!
Next, I also like to go shopping, I like to buy clothes very much. I even want to make clothes myself, I think it wonderful to design my favorite color and favorite pattern. I like American fashion too, so I will learn the fashion style when I go to visit you, and I want to wear many of the clothes.
Fourthly, I like animals since I was a child, I especially like dogs. I love dogs so much, and my favorite kind of dog is Shibakenn. I have taken care of the dog in my grandmother’s house. The dog is Jiro, it is very cute and pretty!! He came to our house ten years ago. When I saw him, I was very pleased. I often take a walk with Jiro, it is a little hard for me but walking is fun.
Next, I like to watch movies, I often watch the movie, and screen of Movie Theater is big and powerful. My favorite movie is Titanic. I cried so hard when I watched it first time, the story is impressive for me. The movie was very popular all of the world. I like Leonard Decaplio since I watched the movie. I also want to watch many movies from now on.　And, I listen to music every day. My best singer is Ayaka, she is very good singer, but she doesn’t release CDs now. I like Western music too.
Finally, the reason I go on this stay is to raise language competence. I want to speak English easily in the future. English is the common language of the world, so I think that speaking English contributes to my future. And, my dream is to be a translator, so I study English very hard. Studying English is interesting for me so I feel it difficulty to study English. I want to learn English and many things if I go to visit you.
