BR04: Stories of Pirates

‘But he had only just begun to stuff his pockets with gold coins, when disaster struck.’

I’ll write this book reviews. Main character is Charlie Crossbones; he’d spent the last ten years at Pirate School to set sail for treasure. He knew how to read a treasure map, unlock a chest and do lots of other pirate things. He even knew how to give a proper pirate’s laugh, what’s more Charlie had been lucky enough to inherit his Grandpa’s old pirate ship and all the gear to go with it. But he realized something was missing, he didn’t have a parrot. So Charlie spotted just what he needed. There were parrots of all shapes and sizes, but there was all too expensive. As Charlie turned to go, the parrot seller said, ‘I suppose you could have this one,’ he said. Charlie had never seen such a pretty parrot and he was amazed it was so cheap so he got the parrot. Out at sea, Charlie spotted a ship called the Fat Flounder. He waited until the sailors had gone to lunch, then he rowed across to the ship and sneaked in through an open window. He’d climbed into the cabin where the captain kept his treasure. But he had only just begun to stuff his pockets with gold coins, when disaster struck. ‘Sssh!’ Charlie hissed at his parrot, but it was too late. Charlie took one look at Captain Silverside and ran. As he rowed back to his ship, Charlie turned to his parrot with a face like thunder. And more, just Charlie was about to steal someone’s treasure, the let out a warning cry. Whenever he tried to get rid of the parrot, it always found its way back to Charlie’s shoulder, so he wondered what he could do. One day, the landlord tried to cheer him up and they were so busy talking, a thief creeping up to the landlord’s cash box. The thief was just about to swipe all the money, when Charlie’s parrot squawked into action. The landlord said, ‘That thief nearly got away with my cash.’ This gave Charlie an idea. The landlord paid Charlie handsomely for his new burglar alarm and Charlie had enough money to buy another bide a quite one this time. This part was interesting very much.

Secretary Examination

I took the secretary examination course first time. I want to obtain the secrerary qualification for my job hunting. First class was like a orientation, I found it was difficult for people to obtain the qualification so I thought I did my best! And, we also took color' class. It was very interesting class, the class was useful for me. We learned about a good combination of colors, it was so amazing. But it was too difficult to understand the course! I want to pass the examination and get the secretary qualification.

Essay 02: My treasure

I have three treasures; these are very valuable for me. My first treasure is my friends, they are precious for me. My friends guide me about several things; their advice is useful for me. I like to play with them, it is very fun. I often drive somewhere, go shopping, go to karaoke, and eat dinner, all together. We always sing the same song when we go to karaoke, and we dance to the music songs together. I think that I spend a very happy day thanks to them. I can’t thank them enough.
Next, my second treasure is pictures; I have liked to take pictures, since I was a child. I’m happy while I take pictures, I took many different pictures: the sky, plants, people, and animals. These are full of various memories, these are important for me. I’m calm when I see the pictures that I took. These give me peace or rest so these are irreplaceable for me. I want to take pictures from now on.
Finally, my third treasure is my family. They are very precious and very irreplaceable for me. My parents have taken care of me since I was born in 1990. I had quarreled with them, and I have complained to them in the past. But I reflect on this now. And my sister always teaches me many things. I liked to study because she taught me English and mathematics. I love my family and they are essential for me forever.
All of these are very important for me, and I want to treasure them.

☆☆☆Mother's Day☆☆☆

Hi!I’ll write about my yesterday’s diary.
First, I visited my grandmother’s house with my mother, because yesterday was Mother’s Day. We went there by the car; we called at hamburger shop on the way to the house. When we picked up my grandmother, we went to Food Company, and we had a lunch. We talked recently things so much, it was very interesting. After we did the shopping, we said good-bye. I had a happy time!
Second, I had worked yesterday, I was very tired. Many people came to the restaurant, I was very busy. But a funny happing happened. When I was carrying dishes, a child talked to me, but I couldn’t hear the story. So, the child followed me, and there was next door to me. The guests of the table were very surprised and much chuckled, I also smiled at him.　After I carried dishes, he talked to me so fast, so I couldn’t understand the content (>_<) His smile was very cute, I had wanted to see the face.

Finally, I finished the working and went my home. I prepared a present for my mother, so I gave it to her. The present was bouquet, it was very beautiful. My mother was pleased to receive it, and I was glad so much. Yesterday was very happy day!

BR03: A Rat for Mouse

‘After that, Mouse’s rat went everywhere with him. He shared Mouse’s meals.’

This book was too difficult for me to write a book review, but I have to write it, so I’ll tell my impression. First, Mouse is main character in this book. His sister is Jojo, she had a hamster, Jumbo. Everyone thought he was sweet and funny, but Mouse was very keen on him. Mouse wanted another pet, so they went to ask their mum. The next day, Mouse and Mr. Macdonald took Mouse to the pet shop, and Mr. Macdonald thought Mouse would choose another rabbit. But Mouse did not want another rabbit, he nothing seemed quite right. But then Mouse saw the rat, he cried ‘This is what I want!’ The shopkeeper said ‘That rats made very good pets, they were clean and clever. A rat was a one-person pet, he would love his owner and never hurt him, but he would probably not let other people pick him up’. After they chose a cage, they got home, and Mouse was very excited. As soon as he got home, he let to watch the rat. When mum saw it, her mouth fell open. Mouse called his rat Ricky. Third, he had to be very brave, because sometimes Ricky opened his mouth and put his teeth round Mouse’s finger. His teeth were long and yellow. I thought the shopkeeper was a liar in the time! Ricky went everywhere with him, they were like closed friends. One day, happened a problem. When the friends were watching television, Ricky took Ben’s biscuit. Without thinking, Ben made a grab for him. Then the rat spun round and bit Ben’s finger, Ben let out a yell. Mrs. Macdonald made said, ‘Perhaps a rat isn’t a good pet after all.’ Mouse was angry; he said ‘Ben should not have grabbed him like that.’ Ben agreed, and said ‘I just forget.’ After that, no one forgot again, everyone was a bit scared of Mouse’ rat, and they thought he was fierce and dangerous. But Mouse adored him. I thought this story was ironic. This book was too difficult for me to understand the content, but this book was interesting for me.

BR02: The Secret Room

‘Mum went into the secret room. She found a little house.’

I’ll write my book review. First, parents bought the new house, and they liked it. They cleaned the house, they also helped them. Mum put wallpaper on the wall, and dad painted a door. Next, dad looked at Biffs ‘room and she wanted new wallpaper, so they went to the wallpaper shop. Second, mum and dad and Biff and Chip pulled the wallpaper off, and Biff found a door it was stuck. And open the door, and found a room, everyone looked inside. Mum went into the secret room, and she found a little house. It looked like their house. When looked inside, it looked their house inside, and a little dog looked like their dog, and three little children looked like them too. I thought these were not casual! This book was too easy for me to read, but it was interesting for me.
